Hi-Tech Specialty Drying
IICRC Exam Fees
$50.00 for all exams except for AMRT and Inspector exams which will be $150.00. Retests will be $25.00. These fees are in addition to the price per seat, and are not paid to the Hydro-Lab. Please be sure attendees have the proper fees available when attending classes.

Class Description
Hands -On 3 Day High Tech Drying:
#8 Moisture Detection & Deep Penetration Detection - Moisture mapping and structural drying under kitchen cabinets, bathtubs, vanities, closed staircases, built in bar/cabinets, built-up floors. Technics to include drying interior components from the exterior of the structure, sandwich drying, high heat, infrared, lgr, dessicant, tes, dryvex, positive pressure, negative pressure, custom drying chambers including dr. Shrink. New monitoring technics will be implemented to accurately determine moisture contents and drying curves of all areas listed above.
#7 Specialty Floor Drying - Drying hardwood, ceramic, marble floors. Dealing with vapor barriers, concrete board, multi-layer flooring, plank, osb, plywood. Learn how to implement infrared heat, high heat, lgr, dessicant, tes, dryvex, etc. Custom built drying chambers using Dr. Shrink, sandwich drying, learn high tech drying technics in order to reduce tear out and replacement.
#2 Commercial Wall Drying - Commercial wall drying- fire walls, 6 layers of 5/8th drywall, steel studs, rockwool insulation, fire proofing, plaster walls, drywall over plaster, drying walls behind vinyl wallpaper w/ vinyl cove base without wall covering removal, measuring negative & positive pressure in wall cavities.
CEC approved event for 2 CEC's for cleaning/restoration category
No prerequisite on this course, but the Hydro Lab strongly recommends ASD certified technicians or minimum 5 years of experience on the job.
